Weekly Homework

Math Homework

Every week the math homework will be the same. A reflection page where the students answer 3 questions in complete sentences. If the reflection page is lost the students may write a reflection on any other paper and turn it in.

1. What math skills and concepts did we work on this week? How do those apply to the real world?

2. What questions or struggles did you have with math this week? What do you still need help with?

3. What did you enjoy in math this week? What successes did you have?

Language Arts Homework

A spelling list will also be sent home each week for the students to study. Also study the vocabulary words as they will be "bonus words" on the spelling test. We will do a pretest on Thursdays. If the students get 100% or more they will earn "Free Time" during the spelling test on Friday. They have the opportunity to silently play board games, read, write, or do games on the chrome books.

Students are also expected to read for 30 minutes every night independently. They should try to apply the comprehension skills we are focusing on that week.
